Khajuraho Temple Tour

Day 01 : - At Delhi
On arrival at Delhi Airport, assistance on arrival by representative of Indus Excursion, transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.


Day 02 :  – Delhi to Jaipur (260 kms/ 5hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Pink city Jaipur by road transfer through car. Do evening city tour of Jaipur city. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur. .

Day 03 : - Jaipur
Do full day sightseeing of Jaipur city. Visit Amer valley fort, Jaigarh fort, City palace, Jantar- mantar, Birla Temple, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal etc. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur

Day 04 : - Jaipur to Bharatpur (177 kms/ 4hrs)
After Breakfast, drive to Bharatpur bird sanctuary. Check-in into the resort. Do evening,  Overnight stay at resort in Bharatpur bird sanctuary.
Bharatpur bird sanctuary also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nestled in a dense and thick marshy forest of Keoladeo, about 300 birds species are found in this sanctuary. Bharatpur bird sanctuary is spread over an area of 29 sq. km. with 11 sq. km. of marshy land. .

Day 05 : - At Bharatpur
Do Morning and Evening park safari of Keoladeo National Park. Overnight stay at resort in Kanha.
Major attractions of  Keoladeo Ghana National Park are: pelicans, tufted ducks, Siberian cranes, coots, hawks, ruddy shelducks, geese, flycatchers, northern shovelers, northern pintails, larks, shanks, stints, pipits, garganey etc. Apart from Birds, other attractions are Bharatpur Palace blend of Rajput & Mughal architecture, Bharat Museum, Lohagarh fort, Deeg Palace (32kms from Bharatpur).

Day 06 : - Bharatpur - (60 kms/1hr & 30 mins) - Agra (Enroute Fatehpur Sikri) by Car
After breakfast, drive for Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. On reaching Fatehpur Sikri, do sightseeing of Jama Mosque, Buland Darwaza, Salim Chisti Ka Mazar etc. Fatehpur Sikri was built by Emperor Akbar in 1970 after birth of his Salim (Emperor Jahangir) with the grace of Saint Salim Chisti who was resident of small town of Sikri. After sightseeing, drive further for hotel in Agra city. Overnight at hotel in Agra.

Day 07 : -  Agra
Do full day sightseeing of Agra city including visit to wonder of world – Taj Mahal, Red fort of Agra. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

Day 08 : - Agra – (250 kms/ 2hrs) - Jhansi – (200 kms/ 4 hrs) – Khajuraho by Train & Car
After breakfast, proceed to Agra railway station to board Bhopal Shatabdi train for Jhansi railway station. On reaching Jhansi railway station, our representative will assist you on arrival and proceed for Khajuraho (4hr drive). Attend evening light & sound show in Khajuraho. Overnight stay at hotel in Khajuraho.

Day 09 : - Khajuraho - (400 kms/40 mins) –Varanasi by Flight
Do morning sightseeing of 9th & 10th century, sand-stone made Khajuraho Temples including Western Group of Temples & Eastern Group of Temples. Khajuraho temples are made by Chandela dynasty that ruled over this area from 9th to 11th century. After lunch, move to Khajuraho Airport to board flight for Varanasi.

On reaching Varanasi Airport, our representative will assist you on arrival and take you to Hotel. After refreshment, go for evening boat ride on holy river Ganges to watch evening aarti on Ghat of Varanasi. Varanasi is also known by the names of Benaras and Kashi also.

Day 10 : - Varanasi Sightseeing
Do full day sightseeing of Temples in Varanasi including Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Benaras Hindu University, Ram Nagar Fort Museum, Tulsi Manas Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Annapurna Temple etc. Overnight at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 11 : - Varanasi - (800 kms/1hr & 30 mins)- Delhi by Flight
After breakfast, drive to Sarnath (10kms./20 mins). Sarnath is the place reached by Lord Buddha, after attaining enlightenment. Sarnath was a deer park during that time and here Lord Buddha delivered his first ever message after enlightenment. Here Dhamek Stupa is the most prominent monument which is 28 meters in diameter and 43.6 meter high. Departure at Pipariya railway station to board train for Mumbai. Later move to view handloom industry of Varanasi known for traditional women outfit called Benarasi Sarees. In late afternoon, drive to Varanasi Airport to board flight for Delhi.

Day 12 : - Delhi
After breakfast do full-day sightseeing of Delhi which includes visit to Red fort, Rickshaw ride on Chandini Chowk, Jama Masjid, India Gate, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple, Qutab Minar etc. Later move to Delhi Airport to board flight to next destination.
